Lenovo-owned smartphone company Motorola introduced the Moto G77 Power in India today. The device features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor with Quad Pixel technology. It comes with a 120Hz 6.72-inch FHD+ display with water touch technology. Moreover, the mobile phone is stuffed with a 7,000mAh battery that is said to deliver up to three days of battery life. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor.

The Moto G77 Power has arrived in India with a price tag of Rs 25,999 (approx. $272) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option. As of now, the company has only revealed the price of the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant; it has not yet disclosed the prices of the other configurations. Additionally, the company is offering a Rs 2,000 bank discount on the smartphone.
The device will come in Pantone Fuchsia Red, Pantone Impenetrable, Pantone Laurel Green, and Pantone Nautical Blue colour options.
The handset is scheduled to go on sale on July 13 via the company’s official website in the country and via Flipkart.

Motorola has introduced the Moto G77 Power, a smartphone built with endurance in mind and boasting an IP64 rating for dust and water protection. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i certified by SGS and delivers the drop and scratch resistance. It is also MIL-STD-810H military-grade certified, which means it is robust enough to survive severe temperatures, humidity, and harsh climatic conditions.
The device has a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ LCD display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. The display has a pixel density of 391 ppi and a 90.97% screen-to-body ratio. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The panel can achieve high brightness levels of 1,050 nits in high-brightness mode for great visibility, even in bright conditions. The Colour Boost display technology provides enhanced colour quality, and the Smart Water Touch technology adjusts the touch sensitivity for seamless interaction even with wet hands.
The gadget runs on Android 16 with the Hello UI layer on top. It will get one year of operating system upgrades and three years of security patches. It also has Motorola’s Hello UX, which is heavy on customisation options, including fonts, colours, icons and wallpapers. Moto Gestures are included for fast and intuitive interactions. The capabilities of AI considerably enhance the user’s experience. There is a Circle to Search feature, which lets users search instantly without switching between applications. Google Gemini is also an intelligent AI assistant that aids in learning, writing, planning, and creation and also answers questions using text, voice, photos, and camera input.
It is powered by a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, built on a 6nm process. The SoC has an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz. The phone has an ARM Mali-G57 MP2 GPU for better graphics. Users may enjoy up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, which ensures seamless multitasking. The device comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card, which is more than enough to store tonnes of data, including photographs, videos, apps and games.

The Moto G77 Power has a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8) using a Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide secondary camera (f/2.2) with a 120-degree field of view. On the rear, there’s also a 2-in-1 light sensor, while the front has a 32-megapixel camera (f/2.2) for selfies and video chats. It can capture video at 2K quality up to 30 frames per second. The camera automatically turns on Group Mode while in landscape mode, allowing for more people to fit in the photo. Google Photos’ AI tools, including Edit Photos by Asking, Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, Reimagine and Auto Frame, provide users with basic editing capabilities that make it easier to edit, restore and transform photos.
The Moto G77 Power has a large 7,000mAh battery that can last up to 59 hours of use. It enables 30W wired fast charging and 6W wired reverse charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C, as well as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou.
The gadget is equipped with multiple sensors, such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and e-compass.
