The 2026 iPad Air, with the strong M4 processor, has been officially introduced in India. It comes in two display sizes: 11-inch and 13-inch, and can be ordered straight from Apple India’s online shop. The tablet has a Liquid Retina IPS display with a pixel density of 264 pixels per inch (ppi), resulting in rich images and a peak brightness of up to 600 nits, which improves usage in a variety of lighting settings. Customers may pick between four distinct colours, and the gadget is available in both Wi-Fi + Cellular and Wi-Fi-only variants. 

Price in India, Availability

  • The 11-inch iPad Air 2026 costs Rs 64,900 for the 128GB storage model.
  •  The 256GB storage variant costs Rs 74,900.
  • The 512GB model costs Rs 94,900.
  • The top-end 1TB configuration costs Rs 1,14,900.
  • Wi-Fi + cellular connectivity models cost an additional Rs 15,000 per variation.
  • The 13-inch iPad Air (2026) is priced at Rs 84,900 for the 128GB variant.
  • The 256GB and 512GB variants cost Rs 94,900 and Rs 1,14,900, respectively.
  • The 1TB model costs Rs 1,34,900.

Apple’s iPad Air 2026 has two display sizes: 11-inch and 13-inch, both having a Liquid Retina IPS screen and a high resolution of 2,732×2,048 pixels. These displays feature a wide P3 colour gamut, which improves colour accuracy, and they come with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating to keep the display clean and clear. The devices offer a pixel density of 264 pixels per inch (ppi) and a maximum brightness level of 600 nits, providing good visibility in various lighting settings. The screens also have an anti-reflective coating, which reduces glare and improves viewing comfort.

The iPad Air 2026 is powered by Apple’s M4 processor, which has eight cores: three performance cores and five efficiency cores. It also has a nine-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine, which allow for enhanced processing capabilities. Notably, the iPad Air supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing, which improves the graphic performance of apps and games. It also comes with 12GB of RAM and supports internal storage of up to 1TB. 

The gadget runs iPadOS 26 and features Apple Intelligence, giving consumers a smooth and powerful experience.

The iPad Air has a single rear camera with a 12-megapixel sensor and f/1.8 aperture. It has Apple’s revolutionary Center Stage function, which changes the frame for selfies and video calls, improving the entire user experience during virtual engagements.

A 36.59 Wh battery powers the gadget, allowing for up to 10 hours of Wi-Fi web surfing and a comparable amount of movie playing time. This mix of capabilities positions the tablet as a formidable tool for personal and professional usage, meeting the demands of today’s users. The new iPad Air model is compatible with numerous Apple Pencil models, including the Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil USB Type-C versions, and it also supports the unique Apple Pencil Hover capability, which allows users to interact with the display in new ways.
