According to the company, the newly released tap-to-pause feature for Reels is intended to solve previously reported inconsistencies with tap controls. Following significant user testing and feedback, this feature now enables users to stop a reel with a single tap. Furthermore, while a Reel is paused, viewers now have the option to mute it, which improves the overall user experience. It is now being rolled out to Android and iOS users. However, it is important to remember that the availability of this function may vary based on the user’s location and account status.
