Vivo V70 FE to launch in India soon, listed on Amazon

This device is the third entry to the V70 series, after the Vivo V70 Elite and the regular Vivo V70.

The Vivo V70 FE is likely to launch in India through Amazon, with the release anticipated for early next month, although a specific date has yet to be confirmed. It will be offered in at least two colours. A special homepage for the Vivo V70 FE has already been launched in India, highlighting the device’s specs. One of the most notable aspects of this smartphone will be its dual back camera configuration, which includes an incredible 200-megapixel sensor.

An official post from Vivo says that the company is getting ready to launch its V70 FE smartphone in India. There hasn’t been an official announcement on the specific launch date yet, but tech writer Paras Guglani assumes it will be on April 2. Amazon has set up a special webpage for the gadget, which suggests that it will be available for purchase on their online store. There will be two colour options for the V70 FE: green and pink.

The smartphone has two cameras on the back, the primary one being 200 megapixels and having optical image stabilisation (OIS). The gadget is expected to cost less than Rs 35,000, with the basic model likely beginning at approximately Rs 30,000. The offer includes several bank discounts and cashback benefits. Furthermore, the smartphone is rumoured to come with 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB of RAM and storage space.

The Vivo V70 FE was released in Indonesia earlier this month. The basic model (8GB RAM, 256GB storage) costs IDR 64,99,000 (about Rs 35,000), while the 12GB RAM, 256GB storage variant costs IDR 71,99,000 (roughly Rs 39,000), and the 8GB RAM, 512GB storage variant costs IDR 73,99,900 (around Rs 40,000) Blue, Light Purple, and Silver are some of the colour options.

The Vivo V70 FE runs Android 16, which has been upgraded with OriginOS 6, and is built to last, having dust and water resistance ratings of IP68 and IP69, respectively. It has an amazing 6.83-inch display with 1.5K Q10+ AMOLED technology and a resolution of 1,260×2,800 pixels. The screen has a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a maximum brightness of up to 1,900 nits. Furthermore, the display has a wide colour gamut (P3) and a pixel density of 449 pixels per inch (ppi), appealing to consumers who value rich detail and colour fidelity in their viewing experience.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor, providing a high-performance computing experience. It can handle up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, which ensures efficient multitasking and smooth performance for demanding workloads. The device also has up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The Vivo V70 FE has a 7,000mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging.

The Vivo V70 FE has a dual rear camera configuration:

  • The main camera has a 200-megapixel (f/1.88) sensor, autofocus, and optical image stabilisation.
  • An 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view is also available.
  • The front camera for selfies and video calls is 32 megapixels (f/2.2).
