Google’s AI Pro Plan upgrade: Now offers 5TB of cloud storage

The Google AI Pro plan previously offered a 2TB limit.

Google has boosted its AI Pro subscription plan by adding 5TB of cloud storage for free. The goal of this enhancement is to provide subscribers with more value by highlighting the benefits of AI features. You may use the extra capacity with a number of services, such as Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. Subscribers will also be able to utilise sophisticated AI tools like Gemini and Veo, which will make their whole experience better by using cutting-edge technology.

Google’s AI Pro plan has brought up the cloud storage limit from 2TB to 5TB. This means that Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos may all store more data. The plan costs Rs 1,950 per month or Rs 19,500 per year in India, and users won’t have to pay anything more for the extra storage. This upgrade is helpful for those who have to deal with a lot of content, such as AI-generated videos, pictures, and written work. The announcement was made by Shimrit Ben-Yair, the head of Google One, via the social platform X.

Note that, paid members and anyone who signs up for free services like the Google Student Offer or Jio’s free AI Pro subscription will both be able to see the extra storage in Google Drive and other services.

The Google AI Pro suite has a lot of advanced capabilities that are meant to help users get more done. One of these features is the Gemini app, which functions as a personal AI assistant. There are three tiers of AI models that users may choose from. The 3.1 Pro version has the most powerful features. Some of the most important features include tools for generating and editing images, “Deep Research” capability, and live capabilities via Gemini Live.

Users receive 50 daily AI credits for video generation, which they may use across services such as Flow and Whisk. Flow is primarily developed as an AI filmmaking tool, allowing for the creation of cinematic content, while NotebookLM functions as research and writing assistance. Users on higher access levels have an enhanced monthly AI credit limit of 1,000, which allows for more video-generating possibilities.

The Google Antigravity service also provides customers with increased rate limitations for agent models. Gemini’s interaction with other Google services, such as Gmail and Google Docs, promotes a smooth workflow. Users may save up to 5 TB of data in Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail, giving them plenty of storage options in addition to these productivity features.
