Vivo Y600 Pro with a robust 10,200mAh battery announced

The new smartphone has been launched in China.

Vivo has added to its Y series with the Y600 Pro in China. The smartphone is available in four colour variants and has a 6.83-inch display and is powered by Android 16-based OriginOS 6. It comes with a massive 10,200mAh battery and a dual back camera setup with a prominent 50-megapixel main sensor. On the front, there’s also a 32-megapixel snapper. The Y600 Pro is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity SoC.

Pricing and Availability

• Vivo Y600 Pro pricing begins at CNY 2,099 (about Rs 28,922) for the basic configuration with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

• The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM with 512GB storage configurations are priced at CNY 2,299 (about Rs 31,677) and CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs 35,811), respectively.

• The top model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage retails for CNY 2,899 (approximately Rs 39,945).

The Vivo Y600 Pro smartphone is set to be available for purchase in China on May 5 and will be offered in four distinct colour options: Bright Moon Black, Floating Gold, Star Violet, and Vast Blue. Buyers will be able to purchase the smartphone via the Vivo online store.

Specifications and Features

The Vivo Y600 Pro is powered by a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor with four efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz and four performance cores clocked at 2.5GHz, and runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. It has an ARM Mali-G610 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1,260 x 2,800 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR compatibility, 1.07 billion colours, 94.47% screen-to-body ratio, and IP68 and IP69 classifications for dust and water protection.

It has a dual back camera arrangement with a 50MP primary sensor (f/1.8) and up to 10x digital zoom for photography. There’s a 32-megapixel front camera (f/2.45) for selfies and video chats. Video recording goes up to 1080p.

The Vivo Y600 Pro comes with a massive 10,200mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. It has a variety of connectivity options such as 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, GNSS, and QZSS. It also has multiple inbuilt sensors like a gravity sensor, photosensitive sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, e-compass, IR blaster and an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.
