WhatsApp to add Notification Bubbles feature for Android in the future: Report

This update intends to make WhatsApp more compatible with the Android UI and multitasking features, improving the overall user experience.

WhatsApp has been working hard to make chatting better on its platform. Recently, they have been working on notification bubbles for Android. This new feature is meant to keep discussions open in other apps, which will make it much easier for users to do more than one thing at a time. The notification bubbles feature is currently being worked on and isn’t ready for beta testing yet. Once it’s in place, it should help people manage their messages better by letting them interact with them without having to jump between screens all the time.

According to a report from WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp is going to add the Android notification bubbles feature to its messaging app. This is meant to make real-time conversation more enjoyable for users. Users will be able to see their chats as floating icons thanks to this new feature. This means they won’t have to leave the app they’re using to get to their chats. These bubbles will show up whenever you get a new message, no matter what app you’re using. They will be integrated with the Android notification system and will show the contact’s profile image and a WhatsApp icon prominently.

Users will also be able to turn off these notification bubbles if they find them to be annoying. When you tap a bubble, a small version of the WhatsApp chat interface will appear, making it easy to respond to messages quickly. The main goal of this new feature is to make sure that users can always access their current chats.

The report says that these bubbles only work well if the app is compatible and the system settings are set up correctly. Users need to check these settings in the Settings app. WhatsApp can only turn on this feature on smartphones running Android 10 or later for the best experience.

These bubbles let people do more than one thing at once by letting them easily join conversations without having to leave the apps they’re already using. This approach makes users more engaged overall.
