OnePlus Nord CE 6 has officially made its debut in the Indian market today. The new smartphone comes in three colour options. It packs a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC and runs on OxygenOS 16.0 out of the box. The device houses a massive 8,000mAh battery. It features a 50-megapixel rear camera unit. Here is everything we know about it.

The Nord CE 6 has been launched in three colourways: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black. It will be available at a starting price of Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The 256GB storage option comes with a price tag of Rs 32,999.

The device is scheduled to go on sale starting May 8 at noon. It can be purchased via OnePlus’s web shop, Experience outlets, Amazon and retail outlets in the country.

Specifications and Features

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2772×1272) and a pixel density of 450 ppi. It has a 19.6:9 aspect ratio and a massive 93.5% screen-to-body ratio. The display refresh rate may be adjusted from 60Hz to up to 144Hz, and peak brightness levels can go up to 3600 nits. It offers a 10-bit colour depth, showing 1.07 billion colours, encompassing 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It has eye-comfort features such as Sunburst HDR technology, adjustable brightness and night mode capabilities.

It is built to military-grade durability requirements (MIL-STD-810H) and is dust and water-resistant with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications. Advanced Crystal Guard Glass covers the display, providing drop protection comparable to Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 price in India, availability

The smartphone is running OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16 and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform with an Adreno 810 GPU. The gadget has an 8GB RAM setup with RAM Vitalisation and capabilities to extend the RAM further. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB loaded with UFS 3.1 technology.

The primary camera uses a 50MP OmniVision OV50D40 CMOS sensor with a size of 1/2.88″. It has dual-axis optical and tri-axis electronic image stabilisation. Its focal length is similar to 27mm, having an f/1.8 aperture and a 76° field of view. The assist camera has a resolution of 2 MP, a pixel size of 1.75 µm, a focal length of 22 mm and an aperture of f/2.4. It can capture video at up to 4K at 30 frames per second, 1080p at 60/30 frames per second and 720p at 60/30 frames per second. Additional functions include dual-view and cinematic capture.

The front-facing camera is a 32MP Galaxycore GC32E2 sensor and can record 4K video at 60fps with tri-axis electronic stabilisation and a 90° field of vision. Other features include several camera settings and an LED flash. Digital zoom from 1-10x is available.

Battery capacity is good at 8,000 mAh with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, 27W reverse charging and bypass charging capability.

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 supports dual nano-SIM, a wide range of LTE bands, and 5G NR. Wireless features include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, but there’s no NFC capability. It also includes USB Type-C for connectivity.

It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, an ambient light sensor and a few others. The gadget comes with dual stereo speakers and enhanced sound settings for music.
