Specifications and Features
Sony’s BRAVIA 9II and 7II televisions come with the proprietary RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro, which allows for meticulous control of red, green, and blue light sources. According to the company, the BRAVIA 9II is improved with True RGB technology, which enhances brightness, colour volume, and overall picture quality compared to standard LED models. For optimised performance there is the Advanced AI Cognitive Processor XR, which adjusts colour, contrast, and brightness in real-time for an enhanced viewing experience.

The BRAVIA televisions are further improved by new LED controllers such as RGB Triluminos Max and Luminance Booster Pro, which offer purer light and richer colours, including smoother tonal transitions. Whereas the Immersive Black Screen Pro technology provides glare-free viewing with intensified black levels and better detail in darker scenes. Audio quality is enhanced through Acoustic Multi-Audio+; the feature is said to align sound positioning with the on-screen action, delivering an enhanced, immersive auditory experience.
Additionally, there is support for formats such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced, which ensures an authentic and enriched viewing experience. Also, the XR Contrast Booster feature assists the device in achieving exceptional peak brightness. The independent RGB LED control and X-Wide Angle Pro technology improve visibility at wide viewing angles. Moreover, Voice Zoom 3 and 3D Surround Upscaling create broader soundscapes.
