Sony India has announced the introduction of the BRAVIA Professional Displays BZ-P Series, featuring 16 variants, including the flagship BZ40P, the upgraded BZ35P and the base BZ30P. The series comes in sizes ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches, all incorporating 4K HDR technology. It’s worth noting that these displays integrate Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare technology and AI-powered XR processing, which really helps improve picture quality. In addition, these displays also have innovative software features that enhance visibility and operating efficiency.

Sony BRAVIA BZ-P Series Pricing and Availability

The BRAVIA Professional Displays BZ-P Series will be launched in India on July 14. The new series will have a wide array of 16 models, covering a broad range of screen sizes from 43 inches (110 cm) to 85 inches (216 cm). The BZ-P Series starts at Rs 1,40,000. These screens will be distributed through Sony’s authorised professional solutions network.

Sony BRAVIA BZ-P Series Features

The BZ-P Series is thin and lightweight, improving installation flexibility and operability and decreasing power consumption. Some variants are IP5X rated for dust resistance, ideal for transportation and industrial use. The series uses up to 43% SORPLAS recycled plastic on specific models. There’s a built-in eco-dashboard for users to monitor energy consumption and optimise settings effectively.

The new form factor makes it easier to install for various commercial applications, including seamless portrait setups and videowall configurations. New VESA mounting holes in the middle and integrated handles on bigger versions also make it simpler to move and set up.

The Sony BZ-P Series displays include advanced XR signal processing for optimum image quality, clarity and accurate colour reproduction. The displays are calibrated at 400 to 700 nits of brightness and are intended for use in a range of business environments. Sony’s flagship models also include the Deep Black Non-Glare technology that offers up to 47% anti-glare performance, allowing for deep contrast and vivid imagery even in highly illuminated conditions.

The BZ40P Series offers four variants (55-85 inches) with 700 nits of brightness, 47% anti-glare performance and IP5X dust protection. The BZ35P Series has six versions (43-85 inches) with 500 nits of brightness and 25% anti-glare performance. Lastly, the BZ30P Series has six models (43-85 inches) with 400 nits brightness and 25% anti-glare performance.

The BZ-P Series also has built-in capabilities for content management and daily operations, and a System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture for easy digital signage installation. The redesigned user interface and setup software make it simpler to install and administer, and extensive compatibility testing ensures it integrates seamlessly with major content management systems.

The BZ-P Series is built for consistent performance and durability, maximising uptime and operating efficiency with an emphasis on energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. It’s equipped with a high-efficiency optical system, and with the help of the XR processor, AI backlight management reduces power consumption by up to 31% compared to the BZ-L Series. The series is Energy Star certified, and EPEAT certification is coming soon.
