Samsung announced its latest flip phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 8, at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in London. The Flip 8 is slimmer and lighter at 180 grams and has been refined to set it apart from the larger Fold siblings and make it more portable. The crease on the inside of the screen has almost disappeared. It packs the latest 3nm Exynos 2600 chipset made specifically for the Indian market. It features a massive 4.1-inch edge-to-edge cover display and an improved 50MP main camera, making it a perfect phone for those who want a premium foldable.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is a clamshell smartphone with a large 6.9-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X primary display. It boasts a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate for smooth graphics and snappy performance. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 has a starting price of $1,200, which is roughly equivalent to Rs 1,15,000. This device comes with a base model that has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, providing plenty of performance and storage space for users. If you need more space, you can get the top-end model, which still has the same 12GB of RAM but bumps up the storage to 512GB. This is a viable option if you need a lot of storage for apps, media, etc.
