Acer has launched the Predator Atlas 7, enhancing its gaming handheld lineup. With the Intel Arc G-Series CPUs powering this device, it’s got top performance and battery efficiency, combined with a powerful dual-fan cooling system with a precise metal Predator AeroBlade fan. It has an 80 Wh battery, Xbox Game Pass compatibility, and TMR joystick options. Acer also announced Project DualPlay Mini, which combines gaming and mobile productivity. The Predator Atlas 7 has flagship performance equal to the new 8-inch model, but in a smaller package.

Availability
The Predator Atlas 7 will be launching in North America in Q4 2026, with availability in the EMEA area commencing in November 2026. Acer also revealed the Predator Atlas 8 earlier this year, which will be shown at Computex 2026 before it goes on sale in North America and EMEA in September 2026. Moreover, the Project DualPlay Mini is only a concept and has not yet been released.
Predator Atlas 7
The Predator Atlas 7 is a tiny gaming device for mobile-first gamers, with a design that encourages intuitive control. Ergonomics feature contoured grips, a big palm rest, recessed keys and an anti-slip texture for greater stability. The joysticks use tunnelling magnetoresistance (TMR) technology for better accuracy and to prevent drifting, while Hall-effect analogue triggers help with games that require different levels of pressure and range.
It has a built-in fingerprint scanner for safe and fast logins with Windows Hello and a 7-inch FHD touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the display from scratches and glare, and a tempered-glass screen protector is included. The display supports 10-point multi-touch and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for smooth motion. The aspect ratio is 16:9 for vibrant visuals.
The Predator Atlas 7 has an Intel Arc G3 Extreme CPU and Intel Arc B390 graphics for incredible gaming performance in a portable size factor, and supports Xbox Game Pass for instant access to an array of games. It takes full advantage of all the gaming features and capabilities of Windows 11 and has a dual-fan cooling system, including a precise metal Predator AeroBlade fan that enhances airflow and a second plastic fan with Vortex Flow tuning to cool things down effectively. The gadget has a good performance/portability balance and an 80 Wh battery that is meant to last during long gaming sessions.
You’ll get dual Thunderbolt 4 ports for high-bandwidth docking, UHS-II microSD support for storage expansion, and Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for the latest wireless connectivity. The PredatorSense app lets you monitor system vitals in real time and personalise your RGB lighting. Enhanced audio from dual 2-watt speakers with DTS:X Ultra technology, and clear voice while gaming with dual microphones with Acer PurifiedVoice technology.
Project DualPlay Mini
Project DualPlay Mini is the Predator brand’s revolutionary 8-inch gadget that serves as a game handheld and a mobile workstation. This two-in-one gadget lets users easily go from gaming to work without owning two separate devices. It has two control schemes: first, a built-in backlit physical keyboard, optimised for regular laptop usage, making it very well suited to first-person shooter games, and second, a gaming handheld mode, providing console-like experiences in numerous game genres.

Dual functionality also extends to its capabilities as a mobile work device, enabling connectivity to external displays to boost productivity for users on the go.
