The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will come in four colours, Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy. The Pro has a 6.3 inch display and the Pro Max a giant 6.9 inch display. One of the most noticeable upgrades these models have made is the Dynamic Island, which now shows three live activities at the same time, giving users a more dynamic and real-time experience.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are powered by the new A20 Pro CPU, built on an innovative 2nm manufacturing technology for heavy on-device AI operations, and run on iOS 27. The CPU is a 6-core design with 4 efficiency cores and 2 beefed-up super cores, said to be up to 20% quicker than before and said to be “desktop-class” and the quickest in any smartphone. All models will have 12GB of RAM and a new in-house C2 modem.
Apple has also revamped the inside of the phone, with a next-gen vapour chamber cooling system that has three times the surface area of the iPhone 17 Pro cooling system. The A20 Pro also has a deionised water circulation system to help spread the heat and keep the performance steady under heavy workloads.

The iPhone 18 Pro also has a great battery life, providing 36 hours of video playback and 24 hours of regular use. The 18 Pro Max takes it a step further with 45 hours of video playback and 30 hours of normal use. Both versions have fast wired charging, charging up to 50% in about 15 minutes, and a quick 5 minute charge could give you up to 6 hours of listening.
