PUBG Lite beta set to roll out in India on July 4: Everything you need to know

Registrations are still open for PUBG Lite.

Last month, registrations for PUBG Lite finally opened in India and the company promised a number of freebies for the participants. In case you have already registered for PUBG Lite and are only waiting to try the watered down version of the game, you would be happy to know that you don’t have to wait too long now. PUBG Corp. has today announced that the beta version of PUBG Lite will begin on July 4 in India and a few other countries.

Starting July 4, PUBG Lite servers in India will be going live and this means that everybody who has registered for the beta version of the game will be able to begin playing it. Besides India, the Beta version will be going live in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

It is worth noticing that PUBG Lite beta in India will also have support for Hindi language.

Speaking about the upcoming update, Brady Choi, VP and Head of PUBG LITE at PUBG Corporation said, “We are very pleased to be able to introduce PUBG LITE to users all over the world. We have a lot of passionate PUBG players in South Asia, so it represents an important area of focus for us.”

To recall, PUBG Lite pre-registrations went live in India last month and the event codes will arrive on email on July 11. A number of in-game items that will be given away as freebies to the people who have pre-registered for PUBG Lite in India have also been announced by the company. We should mention that the pre-registration for PUBG Lite beta testing is still open in India. So, in case you have not registered yet, you still have time to do it. As of now, there is no clarity on how long PUBG Lite’s beta testing will go on. There is also no word about when will the game release for those who do not want to test the beta version.

Coming to the freebies that are being offered by the company, Tiger M416 and the Cheetah parachute skins will be given away to people as event rewards. The company has also added that is the number of people who pre-register reach 1,00,000, the participants will also get punk glasses, a black scarf, and bloody combat pants. Furthermore, if the pre-registration number crosses 2,00,000, then participants will get a gold PUBG scarf, a red sports top and a yellow-black striped long-sleeved shirt.
