Apple recently launched AirPods Pro in the US market. And the company also promised to bring the in-ear audio plugs in India soon. So without any delay, Apple has now put AirPods Pro on sale in the country. The headphones come with active noise cancellation feature and along with a wireless charging case that claims to offer more than 4 hours of playback on a single charge.
Apple AirPods Pro pricing and availability
Apple AirPods Pro is up for sale in India. The new earphones by the Cupertino giant can now be purchased at Rs 24,900 via Apple Authorised Resellers in the country. If we consider the US pricing of the product the company has launched AirPods Pro at USD 249 that translates to Rs 17,850 which means India’s pricing is on the higher side when compared to the US market. Soon the headphones will also be available via leading e-commerce websites Amazon and Flipkart.
The standard AirPods along with charging case will be available at Rs 14,900 whereas the AirPods with Wireless Charging Case can be purchased at Rs 18,900. The wireless charging case can also be purchased separately for Rs 7,500.
Apple AirPods Pro specifications and features
This time Apple has made few changes to the AirPods Pro design. The in-ear headphones by Apple now comes with silicone ear tips for providing active noise cancellation. The company has provided ear tips in three different sizes inside the box. It comes equipped with two microphones that enable ANC on the headphones to unwanted noise from the background. There is also Adaptive EQ, which is claimed to automatically tune the low and mid frequencies of songs which the user is listening for better sound quality as well as clarity. Apple has also provided an “innovative vent system” that eliminates the pressure created while wearing the earbuds.
The Cupertino giant has also provided Transparency Mode that can be enabled by the user while traveling so that they do not miss out on any important announcement while in a metro or at an Airport. The earbuds stem comes with a force sensor to enable ANC and Transparent Mode. In addition to this, the company the New AirPods comes with an Apple H1 chip. Usually, they deliver 5 hours of battery life on a single charge but when the Active noise cancellation feature is active it provides four and a half hours of music playback.
The newly launched Apple AirPods Pro are best compatible with devices running iOS 13.2, iPadOS 13.2, watchOS 6.1, tvOS 13.2, or macOS Catalina 10.15.1
