Itel A26 budget-friendly smartphone launched in India

The Chinese smartphone company owned by Transsion Holding Itel has announced the launch of its latest pocket-friendly smartphone in the Indian market. The company has introduced Itel A26 smartphone with a teardrop-style notch display. The phone also includes a quad-core processor and runs on the Android Go edition. In addition to this, the device comes with a dual rear camera set and a 3,020mAh battery.

Itel A26 price and availability

Itel A26 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 5,999 for the single 2GB RAM with 32GB storage variant, however, on Flipkart it is listed at Rs 6,299. The phone will come in three colour options of Deep Blue, Gradation Green and Light Purple. The phone will be available via Flipkart for purchase in the country.

Itel A26 tech specs

Itel A26 comes with a tear-drop style 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display. The screen offers 720X1,520 pixels of resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The budget smartphone operates on Android 10 Go Edition and is powered by an unspecified 1.4Hz quad-core processor. The mobile phone will be available in 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage options. The Internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. 

For taking photos and videos Itel A26 features a dual rear camera set up that includes a 5-megapixel AI sensor along with a VGA camera. While on the front there is a 2-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and video calling. 

In terms of connectivity, there is 4G VoLTE, 4G ViLTE, 3G and 2G. The device includes a 3,020mAh battery and a Social Turbo feature that allows users to record WhatsApp Calls, save status and do more. Along with this, there are call alerts and peek mode functionalities as well.
