Chromecast with Google TV (HD) specs, features

The new Chromecast with Google TV (HD) has a slim and portable design. It elegantly tucks beneath the screen and plugs into the HDMI connection on the TV. No matter what TV a user is watching on, the new Chromecast with Google TV (HD) enables high-definition streaming with 1080p HDR, and with software changes done by Google in the background, users can enjoy a smooth and quick experience.

The brand-new Chromecast with Google TV (HD), which is available in the traditional Snow colour, also has a voice remote that is easy to operate and comfortable to hold. It contains a Google Assistant button that customers can use to play their favourite song on YouTube Music, discover something to watch on YouTube, and get answers to common questions like “What’s the weather today?” With Google Assistant, users can also use their smart home lighting to set the mood or use their Nest Cam to view their front door live on a huge screen.

Users can now optimise recommendations for what to watch on Google TV by setting up their own profiles. This also enables parents to create a space where their children can watch family-friendly media.

Simply ask Google Assistant to get results from applications like Apple TV, Disney+ Hotstar, MX Player, Netflix, Prime Video, Voot, YouTube, and Zee5, with more coming. Users have access to more than 10,000 apps and can explore their favourite movies and TV series organised and optimised for what they prefer. Additionally, users will continue to have access to their preferred Chromecast functions, such as casting from a phone, sharing Google Photos with a TV, and casting Google Meet video calls to a TV.
