Apple usually refreshes its lineup of iMacs every two years and this time they are on point. Apple hosted its second fall event Scary Fast early morning where it announced the upgraded model of the 24-inch iMac in India. The latest desktop is powered by the latest M3 chipset with up to 8-core CPU. The machine comes integrated with up to 10-core GPU as well. The latest PC is said to perform 2 times faster than the previous generation. The desktop further features a thin 4.5K Retina display and is available in a spectrum of seven vibrant colours.

New 24-inch iMac price in India and sale details
The price of the new 24-inch iMac M3 with an 8-core GPU starts at Rs 1,34,900. It will be offered at Rs 1,29,900 for education. This variant will be available in green, pink, blue, and silver.
On the other hand, the iMac model with a 10-core GPU comes with a starting price of Rs 1,54,900 and Rs 1,44,900 for education. There are green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver colourways for the model.
The latest model of the 24-inch iMac M3 can now be ordered via Apple online store and 27 countries and regions, including the U.S. It will begin selling at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorised Resellers starting November 7.

New 24-inch iMac M3 specs and features
In terms of design, the new 24-inch iMac has no design changes hence it is similar to that of the model launched a few years ago. It has a 24-inch Retina Display with 4.5K resolution. The screen supports a peak brightness of 500 nits. In addition to this, the desktop is powered by the latest generation of Apple chipset M3 having an 8-core CPU, with four performance cores and four efficiency cores. This is up to 35 per cent faster than the previous chipset supporting up to 24GB of unified memory. In addition to this, there are 25 billion transistors and a 10-core GPU that is 65 per cent faster than the previous generation. The M3 CPU also brings improvements and new features like ray tracing and mesh shading to the new 24-inch iMac.
There are two models — One with an 8-core CPU, 8GB of unified memory, 256GB SSD, two Thunderbolt ports, two additional USB 3 ports, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, Magic Mouse, and Gigabit Ethernet. The second model comes with an 8-core CPU, 8GB of unified memory, 256GB SSD, two Thunderbolt ports, a Magic Keyboard, and a Magic Mouse. There is a FaceTime camera supporting 1080p resolution. The six-speaker setup on the desktop is powered by Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos.
In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, up to four USB Type-C ports, two Thunderbolt ports, and Gigabit Ethernet.
