Disable Copilot on Windows 11 using Settings

Step 3: Select the ‘Turn off Windows Copilot’ setting.

Step 4: Select Enabled.

Disable Windows Copilot through the Registry Editor

Step 1: Launch the Registry Editor app on your Windows 11 PC or laptop.

Step 2: Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows.

Step 3: Create a new key by right-clicking the Windows key and selecting New>Key.

Step 4: Name the new key WindowsCopilot.

Step 5: Create a new sub key by right-clicking WindowsCopilot and selecting New>DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name it TurnOffWindowsCopilot.

Step 6: Double-click the TurnOffWindowsCopilot sub key and change its Value from 0 to 1.

Step 7: Hit OK and restart your computer.
