The gaming service on the video streaming platform will be accessible for both the YouTube app for iOS and Android smartphones and the YouTube website for desktops.

Google-owned video streaming platform is getting a new online gaming feature called YouTube Playables. The company is finally rolling out the beta version of the feature nearly 3 three months after Google officially began testing the new functionality.

YouTube Playables feature arcade-style games that can be played directly on YouTube on both desktop and mobile devices. The new functionality will appear alongside other content on the home feed. Previously the “Playables” on YouTube was made available to a number of users. Users will be able to play arcade games on the platform without having to download.

Users will be able to view and control their Playables history and save game progress in YouTube History in My activity. But not that this feature is only accessible to pair subscribers or for Premium Service.
