iQoo 12 5G has already launched in China on December 7 while the India launch is set for December 12. Ahead of the official launch, the iQoo 12 5G price in India has been tipped. Earlier the key details of the smartphone were also teased through a dedicated microsite. The phone will feature a 144Hz 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED E7 display and a triple rear camera setup. The device will be sold through Amazon in the country.
The retail box of iQoo 12 5G was leaked by a well-known tipster. According to the image shared on X, the upcoming gaming phone from Vivo’s sub-brand will be priced between Rs 50,999 – Rs 59,999. The price of the device is said to start at Rs 56,999 and will be available in two variants- 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.
Note that iQoo 12 5G was launched in China with a starting price of CNY 3,999 (Rs 45,000) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The price of the 6GB RAM with 512GB storage and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage is set at CNY 4,299 (Rs 50,000) and CNY 4,699 (Rs 53,000) respectively.
iQoo 12 Specifications
The iQoo 12 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 1,260×2,800 pixels of resolution. The display comes with supports up to 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and 20:9 aspect ratio. The device runs on OriginOS 4 on top of Android 14 and is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC processor.
The gaming smartphone is highlighted with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 1/1.3-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.68 aperture), 64-megapixel periscope telephoto (f/2.57 aperture and 100X digital zoom) and 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor (f/2.0 aperture). For selfies, the device features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.45 aperture.
iQoo 12 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery, with 120W fast charging support. Also, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
