Apple Beats Solo Buds and Beats Solo 4 with support USB Type-C charging launched

Apple has refreshed its audio portfolio with the launch of two new generations of wireless audio devices- Beats Solo Buds and Beats Solo 4. Both earphones are compatible with iOS and Android devices. The Beats Solo 4 wireless headphones have 40mm drivers whereas Beats Solo Buds have dual-layer drivers. Beats Solo 4 features Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking.

Apple Beats Solo 4 headphones, Beats Solo Buds price and availability

The Apple Beats Solo 4 is set to retail for $199.99 which translates to Rs 16,700. It comes in Transparent Red, Arctic Purple, Storm Grey, and Matte Black colour options.

Whereas, the Apple Beats Solo Buds are available for $79.99, or roughly Rs 6,700. The company is offering it in Slate Blue, Cloud Pink, and Matte Black colour options.

In terms of availability, Beats Solo 4 is available for purchase via the official Apple website in the US. On the other hand, the TWS will go on sale in the US in June of this year.

The 40mm drivers on the Apple Beats Solo 4 allow for dynamic head tracking and customised spatial audio. In addition to angled earcups, the headphones have adjustable sliders. The ‘b’ button lets users manage calls, start voice assistants, and adjust the volume and playing of music. It can connect via Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, the headphones offer one-touch pairing with both iOS and Android smartphones. A 3.5mm audio cable can be used to establish a wired connection.

Additionally, the wireless headphones have a built-in DAC for lossless music. Up to 50 hours of battery life are promised for the headphones, and five hours of listening are promised after just ten minutes of charging.

Beats Solo Buds specifications

The dual-layer drivers and laser-cut vents on Beats Solo Buds are supposed to enhance music quality. The unique dual-layer transducers are said to reduce micro-distortions. The new Apple Beats Solo Buds include an acoustic nozzle that is ergonomically oriented. The four ear tip sizes that they come in are XS, S, M, and L.

The earphones are also compatible with Google’s Find My Device and Apple’s Find My, allowing for a one-touch connection with iOS and Android smartphones.

Beats Solo Buds specifications

The ‘b’ button on the earphones also enables configurable on-ear features, enabling users to push it to switch between music and voice assistants, answer and end calls and adjust the volume. The Beats mobile app allows you to manage these customisations as well as other features. USB Type-C is supported by the Beats Solo Buds charging case.
A battery life of up to eighteen hours is promised. Over that, it is claimed that five minutes of charging will give the earbuds an hour of playback time.
