Poco Tablet alongside true wireless earphones and power bank to launch in India soon

The company teased its upcoming products during the Poco F6 5G launch in India.

Xiaomi’s spin-off Poco has decided to broaden its range of offerings. It is getting ready for the launch of a tablet, power bank, and new Poco TWS. New Poco goods were hinted at by the Xiaomi sub-brand during the launch event of the Poco F6 5G. However, the company presented the Poco Pad in the global market last week alongside the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro smartphones. The Poco Tablet is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. It features an 8-megapixel rear and selfie camera. The tablet also comes with a 10,000mAh battery and quad speakers backed by Dolby Audio. Additionally, there is a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support.

The company will soon introduce a new audio device, power bank and tablet in the country. Poco India Head Himanshu Tandon and the company’s Brand Marketing Head-AI, Varun Nair, confirmed the upcoming products during the Poco F6 5G launch event. Poco is yet to confirm the product names or the date of introduction. In India, Poco only offers a number of smartphones in addition to Poco Pods. The Poco Pods, which retailed for Rs 1,199, were first introduced in July of last year.

Poco Pad specifications

Last week the firm introduced its first-ever tablet Poco Pad globally alongside the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro. It is made available in a single 8GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at $329 which translates to Rs 27,400.

The Poco Pad is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with a Qualcomm Adreno GPU. It is available with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device runs on HyperOS with Android 14. The tablet flaunts a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD screen with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels of resolution. The display also includes a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 600 nits of peak brightness. It has V Rheinland low blue light certification and Dolby Vision support. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The device has an 8-megapixel front and back camera. The quad-speaker system supports Dolby Atmos. It houses a 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
