Sony India has introduced a new line of wireless speakers and noise-cancelling headphones aimed at music enthusiasts, called the ULT POWER SOUND series. The ULT TOWER 10, ULT FIELD 7, and ULT FIELD 1 wireless speakers and ULT WEAR wireless noise-cancelling headphones are part of the line. Every model in the series has the ULT button, which enhances music with one or two distinct sound modes to deliver trademark sound quality.
With a wireless microphone included, the Sony ULT TOWER 10 provides 360° party light, 360° party sound, and massive bass. Even better, you can use it to link the speaker to your TV and enhance the audio of your favourite shows. Sound Field Optimisation on the ULT TOWER 10 enables users to identify background noise and adjust the sound settings automatically so that crystal-clear music can be played even in noisy environments. It comes with the ULT button for deeper bass for low-frequency sound whereas ULT1. ULT2 delivers powerful punchy bass. It is compatible with up to 100 speakers to synchronise music and lighting through Party Connect. With the companion app, users can modify the Equaliser setting up to 7 bands according to their tastes.
The Sony ULT FIELD 7 offers punchy bass, expressive lighting, long battery life, dustproof and waterproof design. Not only does it include convenient carry handles for portability, but it can also be connected to a microphone for on-the-go karaoke. It even includes Echo and Key Controls on the rear panel. The Sound Field Optimisation allows the speaker to detect noise and automatically adjusts the sound setting to provide an optimal music experience. It offers up to 30 hours of battery life. Plus, with quick charging, you get 3 hours of playing time in 10 minutes. It comes with an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, also it is salt water resistant, which means you can enjoy music even at the beach.
The Sony ULT FIELD 1 is a small, lightweight speaker that packs more bass into a small form factor. It has an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, a multiway strap, a shockproof construction, and saltwater resistance. According to Sony, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. A built-in microphone has been provided for hands-free calling. It is available in Black, Off-White, Forest Grey and Orange colours to choose from.
Lastly, The Sony ULT WEAR headphones provide premium active noise cancellation along with a strong bass response. The Sony Integrated Processor V1 and a driver unit made for the ULT POWER SOUND series power them. The headphones have soft earpads for comfort, a collapsible design, and a carrying case. They provide up to 30 hours of battery life with Noise Cancelling turned on and 50 hours off, as well as Bluetooth connectivity with two devices.
Pricing and availability
The ULT TOWER 10 comes with a price tag of Rs 89,990. The price of the ULT FIELD 7 is set at Rs 39,990. The ULT FIELD 1 and ULT WEAR on the other hand will retail at Rs 10,990 and Rs 16,990 respectively.
