Samsung launched Galaxy F15 5G Airtel Edition in India

During the first 18 months of ownership, buyers are required to utilise an Airtel prepaid SIM card.

Samsung has introduced a Galaxy F15 5G Airtel Edition in India today. It is a new variant of Galaxy F15 5G that was launched in March of this year, launched in collaboration with Airtel. The specs of the smartphone remain unchanged however the device will be strictly limited to the Airtel 5G network.

Samsung Galaxy F15 5G Airtel Edition price in India, availability

The Samsung Galaxy F15 5G Airtel Edition will be available in three different configurations. The price of the 4GB + 128GB is set at Rs 12,999, whereas the 6GB + 128GB model will cost Rs 14,499. The 8GB + 128GB option will come with a price tag of Rs 15,999.

Flipkart is offering a Rs 750 discount coupon along with a 50GB free data offer on the smartphone. When using an ICICI or HDFC credit card, an instant discount of Rs 1,000 is offered. Note that customers must recharge using a plan that costs at least Rs 199 from the Truly Unlimited Plans as the phone is locked for 18 months after the date of activation. However, buyers can stop using Airtel prepaid SIM before the end of the first 18 months by directly opting out from the Airtel Guard App.

Samsung Galaxy F15 5G specifications

The Galaxy F15 5G has a full-HD+ Super AMOLED display of 6.5 inches. The refresh rate on the screen is 90 Hz. The triple rear camera setup of the  Samsung Galaxy F15 5G Galaxy F15 5G has a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel lens. There is a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

It comes with One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 14. The phone is supposed to receive five years of security updates in addition to four years of OS upgrades. A MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ octa-core SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage powers it.

The 6,000mAh battery powering the  Galaxy F15 5G supports 25W wired fast charging.
