Today, Motorola introduced the Edge 50 Ultra to the Indian market. The recently released phone boasts top-tier specifications, including a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, an OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a 4,500mAh battery that supports both 50W wireless charging and 125W wired charging, and a versatile triple rear camera configuration. Not only does it run the most recent version of the Android OS, version 14, but it also supports Moto AI, which comes with a number of artificial intelligence features, such as Magic Canvas for AI image generation.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is priced at Rs. 59,999 in India, with 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. It will be available in Darkest Spruce, Peach Fuzz, and Sheer Bliss colours. As part of an introductory offer, it is available at Rs 49,999, including an instant bank discount of Rs. 5,000 on HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank card transactions. Consumers can also avail of No Cost EMIs for up to 12 Months starting at 4,167/ per month from leading banks.

The smartphone will go on sale from June 24 at 12 noon via Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores including Reliance Digital.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra specifications

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It operates on Hello UI-based Android 14 out of the box. The device features a 6.7-inch 1.5K LTPS pOLED screen with 1,220×2,712 pixels of resolution. The display comes with 144Hz refresh rate support and up to 2500 nits of peak brightness. Also, it has support for HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The display is also Pantone-validated.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, a 64-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel front camera for video calls and selfies.

The Motorola edge50 Ultra has a 4500mAh battery that supports 50W wireless charging along with 125W TurboPower charging. The smartphone also comes with IP68 underwater protection, which can withstand dust, dirt, and sand, along with submersion in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.

The Motorola edge50 Ultra is a smartphone with advanced thermal components and a vapor chamber cooling system, providing a 5,034mm chamber surface area. It features two large stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Dolby’s head tracking technology recalibrates sound location as the user turns, offering a realistic sound experience. While the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoundTM uses Bluetooth to deliver immersive detail in games, and movies.

The Motorola Edge50 Ultra, powered by Moto AI, offers a user-friendly AI Magic Canvas feature that allows users to generate images through text inputs, making it easy to create art, share content, and more. The camera system is equipped with advanced Moto AI technology, including AI Action Shot, AI Adaptive Stabilization, Intelligent Auto Focus Tracking, and the AI Photo Enhancement Engine. The camera also features Smart Color Segmentation, Advanced Long Exposure, and Video Horizon Lock, which analyses photos to provide individualised tuning for specific segments.
