Redmi 13 5G to be launched in India on this date: Details revealed

The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 4 Gen 2 chipset.

The Redmi 13 5G is slated to come in India next month. Xiaomi has officially revealed the India launch date. The Redmi 13 5G is set to be the successor to the Redmi 12 5G, which debuted in India in August 2023. Ahead of the official announcement, the firm has disclosed the major specs and colour variants of its next affordable 5G smartphone. The phone will be available in two colours and will have a 108MP camera. In addition, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 4 Gen 2 chipset, a 5,030mAh battery, and 33W rapid charging.

The Redmi 13 5G is scheduled to launch in India on July 9 at noon. The company took to X.com to announce the official launch date. Xiaomi has also created an event page to tease the key specs, design and colour options of the phone.

The Redmi 13 5G smartphone has a flat display with notable bezels, a thicker chin, and a punch-hole camera cutout. The brand says that it will sport the segment’s largest display and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The back features a sleek surface and a dual rear camera setup. The phone appears in blue and pink tones. The back panel features a crystal glass design, but it is unclear whether it is glass or something else.

In the top left corner, three separate, round, slightly raised modules house two camera units and an LED flash unit.

The Redmi 13 5G will include a 108MP primary camera in a dual-camera arrangement at the back. It’s said to have a 2MP macro camera and an 8MP selfie camera. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Generation 2 chipset. The Redmi 13 5G will use Xiaomi HyperOS as its operating system. The smartphone will reportedly include a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities.
