Motorola has officially introduced this year’s Razr series. The company brought Moto Razr 50 and Moto Razr 50 Ultra first to its home market, China. Both devices have an IPX8 rating and a 50-megapixel primary camera. Moreover, they run on Hello UI based on Android 14 out of the box. The base variant is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC whereas the Ultra model comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

Moto Razr 50 Ultra, Razr 50 pricing details
The Moto Razr 50 is priced starting at CNY 3,699, or about Rs 47,000, for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model and CNY 3,999, or approximately Rs 50,000, for the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage edition. Elephant Grey, Moon Velvet Black, and Love Orange are the available colour options.
On the other hand, the starting price of the Moto Razr 50 Ultra is CNY 5,699, or about Rs 66,000, for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model, and CNY 6,199, or approximately Rs 74,000, for the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage edition. The Chinese colour options translate to Modern Green, Peach Fuzz, and Vintage Denim.
Moto Razr 50 Ultra specs
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ pOLED inner display with 1,080×2,640 pixels of resolution and 413ppi pixel density. There is a 4-inch pOLED cover display with 1,080×1,272 pixels of resolution and 417ppi pixel density. Both displays support a 165Hz refresh rate. The flip phone operates on MyUX based on Android 14. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.x storage.
The Ultra sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS support and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.

On the contrary, Razr 50 similar inner display which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.6-inch full-HD+ pOLED outer display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Instead of a Qualcomm chipset, the handset is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

Razr 50 also houses a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. The selfie camera is the same as the Ultra edition.
Note that its elder sibling has an in-display fingerprint sensor whereas the base model settles for a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The device is fueled by a 4,200mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging support.
