Motorola Razr 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and AI features launched in India

The phone has several AI-powered capabilities which include Adaptive Stabilisation, Action Shot, Intelligent Auto Focus Tracking, Photo Enhancement Pro, Super Zoom, Colour Optimisation, Style Sync, and AI Magic Canvas.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra officially made its debut in the Indian market today. The smartphone will take on the upcoming Galaxy Flip 6 and the existing Galaxy Flip 5. The clamshell design phone is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and it runs on Hello UI based on Android 14 out of the box. The device comes with AI-powered capabilities from Motorola. It comes with an IPX8 rating and a 50-megapixel primary camera.

Motorola has launched Razr 50 Ultra in a single 12GB RAM with 512GB storage option priced at Rs 99,999. The flip phone will be offered in three shades Midnight Blue, Spring Green and Peach Fuzz.

According to the company, the device will go on sale in India starting 20th July at an incredibly effective price of just Rs. 89,999 (including an introductory early bird price of Rs 94,999 plus a Rs 5000 Bank discount) across Amazon, Reliance Digital, motorola.in and leading retail outlets across India. Consumers can also pre-reserve the Motorola Razr 50 ultra on Amazon as well as Retail stores starting 10th July 2024. Buyers can also own the Razr 50 ultra starting at just Rs 5,000 per month with No-cost EMI options from leading banks.

Consumers can also avail of benefits worth Rs. 15,000 from Reliance Jio.
It will also come with 3 months of Google Gemini Advanced Subscription along with 2TB of cloud storage space.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ pOLED inner display with 1,080×2,640 pixels of resolution and 413ppi pixel density. There is a 4-inch pOLED cover display with 1,080×1,272 pixels of resolution and 417ppi pixel density. Both displays support a 165Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. They also have 120% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and the brightness can also reach up to 3000 nits with HDR. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The flip phone operates on Hello UI based on Android 14 and offers 3 OS updates and 4 years of security patches with Moto Elite Care benefits. The Hello UI offers customizable devices with fonts, colours, and icons, and intuitive gestures for controlling features and apps. Users can set screen time limits and control access to apps, ensuring a safe space for kids. Other features include Moto Gestures, Moto Secure with Thinkshield, Family Spaces, and Moto Unplugged. Smart Connect unites multiple devices, enabling seamless task transitions across phones, tablets, and PCs. It includes functionalities like Swipe to Share, Cross-Device Control, Context-Aware Phone, Universal Clipboard, Share Hub, and App Stream.

Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.x storage. The Ultra sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS support and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical and 30X AI Super zoom capability. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. Apart from this, the Motorola Razr 50 ultra also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and 20% louder sound and 25% stronger bass. For durability and robustness, the handset comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and IPX8-rated underwater protection. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus keeps the external display safe from drops and scratches. While IPX8-rated underwater protection means the Motorola Razr 50 ultra can withstand submersion in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
