Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 specifications leaked ahead of July 10 Galaxy Unpacked event

On July 10, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris Samsung is going to launch its next-gen AI-powered foldable phone, Galaxy Z Fold 6. It is anticipated to have a 50-megapixel primary camera, an Armour aluminium frame, and an IP48-rated construction. Promo images and leaked information have appeared before the phone’s formal release, now a tipster has leaked the phone’s key specs.

The information related to Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been leaked by tipster Abhishek Yadav via X.com. It is anticipated that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a 6.3-inch exterior screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,856 pixels. Additionally, anticipated is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is said to operate on One UI 5, which is based on Android 14, and be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. 

A 50-megapixel primary rear camera, a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with a 3-x optical zoom are anticipated to be included in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. In addition, it will feature a 4-megapixel under-display sensor and a 10-megapixel front camera. The device will feature a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C port. The foldable phone is likely to have an S-Pen support similar to Galaxy S24 Ultra, and a 4,400mAh battery.

Along with an IP48-rated design, it will also feature Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC connectivity options. The leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 weighs 239g and has an Armour aluminium frame. The phone’s thickness when folded should be 12.1 mm; when unfurled, it might be 5.6 mm.

In the past, tipster Passionategeekz released fresh, purported renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, showing the phone in titanium, pink, and blue hues. As per leaked images, sharp edges and a squared-off appearance characterise the design, which is reminiscent of earlier leaks similar to Galaxy S24 Ultra.
