The launch date for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is now official

The Plus version of the Phone (2a) has been spotted on BIS and other certification sites.

Nothing is all set to launch a brand new smartphone. The company today confirmed a Plus version of the Phone (2a). The company has also announced the debut date for the Nothing Phone (2a) and created a dedicated homepage, although the design and specifications remain unknown for the time being. Before the announcement, the device was spotted on many certification sites, including BIS, indicating that an Indian launch is also planned. Interestingly, the phone was recently added to Jio’s list of 5G-capable handsets. We believe that the future phone will be an enhanced version of the Phone (2a), which was released earlier this year.

The launch date of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has been officially confirmed by the company on X.com. On July 31, the new Plus variant will make its debut. The firm released a teaser image that appears to show circular trails.

The device is anticipated to be more efficient than the Nothing Phone (2a), which made its debut in March this year. The Plus version may also include Glyph lights on the rear panel, similar to the Nothing Phone (2a), though it will have fewer LEDs than the regular Nothing Phone 2 which launched last year.

Earlier, Nothing had also hinted at + and a Pokémon, as it typically does for the release of new products, to further stoke rumours.
