Oppo K12x 5G to launch in India on this day

The smartphone will be a rebranded variant of the OnePlus Nord CE 4.

On July 29, Oppo India will introduce the Oppo K12x 5G in the country. The firm has already unveiled the device’s design, colour options, and main features. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 may be repackaged for the Indian market, and it differs slightly in appearance from the Chinese model. With its IP54 dust and water-resistant rating and Splash Touch technology, users may use the touch screen even in damp conditions.

OPPO India is preparing to introduce the K12x 5G, a robust smartphone with an IP54 rating for dust and water protection. The smartphone will be available in two colours: Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet.

The company’s forthcoming phone will have a 360-degree Damage-Proof Armour Body, drop-resistant material, and a twice-reinforced Panda Glass display. It is MIL-STD-810H certified and can survive extreme conditions such as heat, moisture, and shock. The box set includes an Air Cushion Armour Case with corner cushioning and a strengthened rear to guard against accidental drops.

The device is splash-resistant (IP54-rated) and includes Splash Touch algorithms allowing uninterrupted screen operation even when wet. Oppo K12x 5G will be available. The 68mm thin design weighs 186g and has a matte surface for a smooth grip.

The phone’s rear contains a dual camera sensor inside a pill-shaped camera module that is vertically aligned with a Cosmic Flashlight.

According to the company, the Oppo K12x 5G will also have a 6.67-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1000nits peak brightness. It is L1 Widevine certified for HD streaming and features AI Linkboost technology for steady signal strength and faster network recovery. The Dual View Video feature enables users to capture videos from both cameras at the same time, which is great for vlogging. The smartphone comes equipped with a 5100mAh battery and a 45W SuperVOOCTM charger.

The Oppo K12x 5G will be available in India starting July 29. A OnePlus Nord CE 4-like design on the teaser gadget suggests that it is a rebranded version of the device.
