Our Take

The iQOO Z9 5G and Samsung Galaxy A16 5G are two smartphones with distinct photography features. The iQoo Z9 5G boasts two cameras and a punch-hole screen, while the A16 5G has three rear cameras and a waterdrop notch for selfies. For improved speed, efficiency, and gaming, the iQoo employs the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, whereas the Samsung phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. The iQoo Z9 5G does not feature an ultra-wide sensor, although both have 50MP primary sensors. Both feature a 5,000mAh battery, however, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G supports 25W wired fast charging while the iQoo Z9 5G has 44W. Both devices are running Android 14, however, the iQoo Z9 only gets two years of upgrades, while the A16 5G gets six.
