iQOO 13 launch date announced, Indian availability teased: Details inside

The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's latest chipset Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The iQOO 13 will be available in China later this month, powered by Qualcomm’s newest octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The launch date for India has not yet been disclosed, but the company has already published Indian availability data, indicating the impending debut. The phone will also be available in India, through Amazon and the official website. The iQOO 13 will be powered by a 6,150mAh battery with 120W charging capabilities. It will have a Q10 OLED display.

The iQOO 13, which comes in four colour options—black, green, grey, and white—will launch in China on October 30 at 4 or 1:30 PM IST. After being hinted at by Nipun Marya, the country head, the iQOO 13 phone will now be sold in India via Amazon and the iQOO India website.

A number of significant features have been unveiled in advance of the iQOO 13’s launch, including a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a Q2 gaming chipset, and a Q10 OLED display.

The design of the phone is similar to that of the previous iQOO 12, with a power button and volume rocker on the right edge and a square camera unit on the back panel. The front camera was shown in a hole-punch slot atop thin, symmetrical bezels in earlier teases.

With a 6,150mAh battery and 120W wired fast charging, the iQOO 13 will run Android 15-based OriginOS 5 in China and Funtouch OS 15 in India and other countries.

The Snapdragon X80 5G Modem-RF System provides 30% more precise location positioning and multi-gigabit 5G speeds.
