Acer Iconia 8.7 (iM9-12M) and the Acer Iconia 10.36 (iM10-22) launched in India

Both the tablets run on Android 14.

Acer has introduced two new Iconia tablets in India: the Acer Iconia 8.7 (iM9-12M) and the Acer Iconia 10.36 (iM10-22), both featuring 8.7-inch and 10.36-inch displays respectively. Both tablets run Android 14. The 8.7 contains a MediaTek Helios P22T SoC and a 5,100mAh battery, but the 10.36 has a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and a 7,400mAh battery. They can deliver up to 10 hours of video playback, which is ideal for a variety of activities like gaming and productivity.

The price of the Iconia 8.7 (iM9-12M) starts at Rs 11,990. Whereas the Acer Iconia 10.36 (iM10-22) will be available at a starting price of Rs 14,990. The Iconia Tabs will be available in Acer exclusive stores, Acer online store, and Amazon.

Specifications and Features

The Acer Iconia 8.7 (iM9-12M) comes with an 8.7-inch WXGA IPS multi-touch screen with 1,340 x 800 pixels of resolution and 400nits of brightness. Under the hood there is MediaTek Helio P22T SoC paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage. There is an 8-megapixel primary camera at the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

On the other hand, the Iconia 10.36 (iM10-22) features a 10.36-inch 2K IPS display with 2,000 x 1,200 pixels of resolution and 480nits of brightness. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage. The tab includes a 16-megapixel main rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

Iconia 10.36 (iM10-22)

Both tablets come pre-installed with Android 14. In terms of sound, the Acer Iconia 8.7 has two stereo speakers, while the 10.36-inch model has four.

With a 5,100mAh battery that supports 10W charging, the Acer Iconia 8.7 is supposed to last up to eight hours. The Acer Iconia 10.36, on the other hand, has a 7,400mAh battery that supports 18W cable charging and has a stated usage time of up to 10 hours. Connectivity stands out with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and Dual SIM 4G LTE support.
