CES 2025: Krafton partners with NVIDIA ACE to unveil Co-Playable Character (CPC)

Krafton introduced a co-playable character (CPC) developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, bringing NVIDIA ACE to inZOI and other games at the ongoing CES 2025.

KRAFTON and NVIDIA collaborated to unveil an agentic framework at CES 2025, which combines development expertise with AI technology. The CPC framework enables AI companions to interact with gamers, transforming the industry of gaming. KRAFTON intends to expand CPC technology throughout its gaming portfolio, including inZOI, to improve user experience.

KRAFTON, in collaboration with NVIDIA, announced an agentic framework at CES 2025, the world’s largest IT trade show in Las Vegas. KRAFTON has collaborated with NVIDIA to create a CO-PLAYABLE CHARACTER (CPC), an AI companion that interacts with players. This unique technique employs an on-device Small Language Model (SLM) created with NVIDIA ACE technology. CPCs are designed to comprehend and respond to game situations in a human-like manner, which will benefit the gaming industry’s future.

KRAFTON intends to improve the user experience by adding CPC technology into its gaming portfolio, which includes inZOI.
