CES 2025: LG announced Xboom by Will.i.am audio devices

The new lineup includes BT speakers and TWS earbuds.

The ‘Xboom by Will.i.am’ line of LG’s audio products, which includes the Xboom Stage 301 Bluetooth speakers, Xboom Bounce, Xboom Grab and Xboom Buds TWS earbuds, was introduced following a collaboration with the rapper. With AI Sound, AI Lighting, AI Calibration, and RAiDiO, LG’s new xboom series offers a more warm and well-balanced xboom signature sound.

After announcing their collaboration in December, LG Electronics and multi-platinum singer and tech entrepreneur will.i.am debuted their new line of Bluetooth speakers and earbuds, “xboom by will.i.am,” at CES 2025.

Bounce, Grab, and Stage 301 are smart Bluetooth speakers with AI features for an enhanced listening experience that are part of the “xboom by will.i.am” brand. AI Sound is automatically adjusted by the speakers according to the content, enhancing voice, rhythm, or melody. The AI Lighting feature keeps bar lights in sync for ambiance.

With AI calibration, speakers can identify their environment and produce enough sound in a variety of settings. Furthermore, a button on the xboom speakers is now specifically designed to link to will.i.am’s RAiDiO.FYI platform for customised infotainment content.

With the LE Audio Auracast feature, users can link additional xboom units for smooth, synchronised audio output, resulting in enhanced sound. As the master unit, the xboom speaker allows users to experience synchronised audio across many units, even if their smartphone does not support Auracast. Integrated tweeters and Peerless full-range units complete the xboom signature sound.

With its dual dome tweeters, track-type woofer, and integrated passive radiators, the xboom Bounce produces high-frequency stereo with clear highs and an enlarged soundstage. Because the radiators bounce up and down, the term “Bounce” was chosen. The speaker may be set on a tabletop or hung on a hook thanks to its multipurpose strap. It features a built-in battery that lasts up to 30 hours, an IP67 rating.

The Grab has an IP67 rating, is durable according to Military Standard 810G, and has a 20-hour battery life.

Designed to create dynamic stage environments, the xboom Stage 301 is a multipurpose speaker. It is perfect for picnics, karaoke nights, and busking. Rich, powerful sound is produced by its two 2.5-inch midrange drivers and 6.5-inch woofer. The speaker features a wedge shape for adjustable positioning and an integrated handle for convenient carrying.
