CES 2025: Lenovo unveils ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable and ThinkPad X9 Series AI Laptops

Designed for productivity-focused workers, business travellers, and mobile professionals, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is a multipurpose laptop.

At CES 2025, Lenovo unveiled the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable AI PC, which boasts a rollable OLED screen that can be enlarged vertically with a special key or camera motion. Up to 32GB of RAM, up to 1TB of SSD storage, and an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor power the laptop. The laptop offers up to 32GB of RAM, up to 1TB of SSD storage, and an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. Combining portability and a wider workspace, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is a multipurpose laptop. The new ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition line from Lenovo, which has up to 15.3-inch OLED screens, was also announced.

Lenovo has announced the launch of the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable AI PC, priced at $3,499 which translates to Rs 3,00,300.

The ThinkPad X9 14 Aura Edition will be available at a starting price of $1,399 that converts to Rs 1,20,100. The ThinkPad X9 15 Aura Edition will be made available at $1,549 that is Rs 1,33,000.

The laptops will be available in the US in February.

With just a key press or hand movements, ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable AI PC users may increase the screen size from a small 14-inch to a roomy 16.7-inch thanks to its innovative rollable display technology. This feature is perfect for business customers who require flexibility and productivity while on the go because it offers almost 50% additional screen space in a small form factor. The weight of the incredibly thin 14-inch laptop is only 1.7 kg. With its 400 nit brightness and 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy, the 120Hz OLED display offers high-speed performance and AI optimisation for various professional needs.

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is a powerful laptop with an edge-to-edge keyboard, Intel Core Ultra CPUs, Intel Arc graphics, Thunderbolt 4, and Intel Wi-Fi 7.

Widgets and split-screen capability are made possible by its ThinkBook Workspace feature, which makes it simple to access often utilised apps. Its distinctive vertical screen design for professionals who work long hours encourages better posture and lessens fatigue.

Lenovo AI Now and Cocreator from Paint are two AI-enabled features the Copilot+ PC has to boost user creativity and efficiency. It offers tailored task recommendations and streamlines processes by fusing cloud and on-device intelligence. Lenovo AI Now is a smart assistant, while Copilot+ PCs have advanced generative AI features that enable offline data processing and content creation.

Lenovo has introduced high-end business laptops, such as the ThinkPad X9 14 and X9 15 Aura Editions, for creative workers. These Copilot+ PCs combine robust Intel and Windows 11 platforms with customised AI experiences, all driven by Intel Core Ultra processors. The ThinkPad X9 provides excellent performance, dependability, and smooth productivity for hybrid users.

The ThinkPad X9 Series laptops are incredibly thin and stylish, with covers composed of 50% recycled aluminium. The laptops have been certified to meet MIL-SPEC 810H standards, are incredibly tough, and include a special “engine hub” for better cooling and performance.

Lenovo Aura Edition, a collaboration with Intel, is a set of AI-powered utilities for the ThinkPad X9 series. It has Smart Modes, which enable users to choose between optimised device configurations while improving security, controlling battery efficiency, and encouraging healthy digital habits. Smart Share, created in conjunction with Intel, allows for quick photo uploads between Android or iOS smartphones and the ThinkPad X9. Smart Care provides real-time diagnostics and Lenovo’s expanded support services, including 24/7 live agent support and online access to all support documentation for self-service and troubleshooting, assuring continuous productivity and device health.
