If you love playing games on your laptop and want to make the most out of it, we are here to help! Here is a list of 10 things that you can do to boost your laptop’s gaming performance. Take a look:
1Install the latest version of DirectX
DirectX is very important for gaming on Windows and Xbox consoles. The latest version of DirectX is DirectX 12 and it was released back in 2015. You should have it installed in your laptop to boost its gaming performance. However, we should mention that it is very rare that people go for a manual installation of the software as it gets installed on its own when a game requires it to. If this doesn’t happen, DirectX gets installed as a part of a Windows Update.
You can check the current DirectX version on your laptop by pressing WINDOWS + R to access the Run menu and then enter DXDiag. Once the DirectX Diagnostic Tool is loaded, open the Render tab and you will be able to see your graphics card. The Direct3D DDI here should be numbered according to the latest version of DirectX.
