Samsung Galaxy S5 was launched by the company in April 2014 and it was claimed by Samsung that 12 million units were sold in the first three months after the launch. The device came with Android 4.4 KitKat at the time of its launch and was powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC or Exynos 5 Octa 5422 processor, depending on the region. The smartphone featured a 5.1 in Super AMOLED that was protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and came with 2GB /3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S5 can hold a microSD card of up to 128GB and houses a 2845mAh battery.
