The domestic smartphone manufacturer Micromax has launched the slimmest smartphone of the company dubbed as Canvas Sliver 5. The device comes with 5.1mm thickness and has been priced for Rs 17,999. The smartphone will be come in White and Black colour options and will be available in the market from the first week of July.
Talking about the specifications, the smartphone flaunts a 4.8-inch AMOLED display with 1280×720 pixels resolution protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor. The smartphone comes with Single nano SIM support and offers 2GB of RAM.
The Canvas Sliver 5 has an inbuilt storage of 16GB which cannot be expanded any further. The device sports an 8.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5.0-megapixel front facing camera for video calling. The connectivity options in the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS and it packs in a 2,000 mAh battery.

The company has also launched an Onsite Care service with the device. As per the new service it will offer a pick up your phone for service and delivers it back within 7 days.
