At the first major E3 2019 keynote, we got a number of surprises and big releases. Among these, a lot of big announcements were from Microsoft. The company announced a number of key details about its upcoming Xbox, showed us some trailers from games like Halo Infinite and Gears 5 and showcased its new Elite Controller. 10Partnership with Double Fine
Another major announcement from E3 is that the company has partnered with Tim Schafer’s Double Fine studio. For those unaware, this is the studio behind games like Psychonauts. After this, the company is no longer independent. Speaking about the deal, Double Fine’s Greg Rice said, “And with that, we’re officially no longer independent, though forever indie in spirit.”
