Features and Specifications
The Acer Predator Atlas 8 PA08-I51 runs Windows 11 Home and is powered by Intel Arc G3 Extreme and Intel Arc G3 CPUs (with Intel Arc B390 and B370 graphics). For memory, the device supports up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x 7467MT/s and allows storage expansion up to 1 TB using a PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD slot (2280).
The dual-fan cooling system stems from the Predator laptop lineage and features the unique precision metal Predator AeroBlade fan, the first of its type in a portable. There are 89 blades, which are barely 0.1 mm thick, increasing airflow by up to 10%. Additionally, there is a secondary plastic fan that further enhances cooling efficiency. This is achieved via Vortex Flow optimisation, where internal channels are orientated to allow for efficient passage of air through the chassis, resulting in faster evacuation of heated air and sustained peak performance during intense gaming sessions.
The Predator Atlas 8 has an 8-inch WUXGA display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100 per cent sRGB and 77.68 per cent Adobe colour coverage. The display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate ) technology. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to protect the screen from scratches and reduce glare, which is essential for visual quality. The touchscreen also supports 10-point multi-touch for intuitive and responsive multi-touch interaction.
Audio is offered by two 2W speakers, Realtek ALC712, with two on-board microphones, DTS:X Ultra, Hi-Res Audio technology and Acer PurifiedVoice. Finally, two microphones with Acer PurifiedVoice provide AI-assisted noise reduction to increase communication clarity and overall audio quality in a variety of scenarios.
