The company has also launched matching watch faces and dynamic iOS and iPadOS wallpapers.

Apple has announced today the release of a new watch face, dynamic iOS and iPadOS wallpapers, and a new Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop. These announcements are part of Apple’s efforts to support global movements to safeguard and promote equality for LGBTQ+ communities.

Apple is introducing a new Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop, which will be available for order starting on May 22. In addition to this, a matching watch face and dynamic iOS and iPadOS wallpapers will be available in an upcoming software update. Apple says that it will continue to support LGBTQ+ advocacy groups through this Pride Collection, whose work is bringing about positive change. These groups include the Human Rights Campaign, a global advocacy group that works to ensure that all LGBTQ+ people are treated as full and equal citizens, and ILGA World, a global federation dedicated to advancing the rights of LGBTQ+ people worldwide. Encircle, Equality Texas, Equality North Carolina, GLSEN, Equality Federation, the National Centre for Transgender Equality, PFLAG, SMYAL, and The Trevor Project are among the other advocacy groups that Apple sponsors.

The new Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop, which comes with a laser-etched lug that reads “PRIDE 2024,” reflects the beauty and strength of LGBTQ+ communities with a bright, fluorescent design influenced by several pride flags. Whereas pink, light blue and white tones stand for transgender and nonbinary people, while black and brown represent black, Hispanic, and Latino groups as well as those affected by HIV/AIDS.

The iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch now have vibrant, symbolic colours for the new Pride Radiance watch face and iOS and iPadOS wallpapers.
