Taiwan-based electronics giant Asus today refreshed its ExpertBook series with the launch of two new laptops. The company has introduced the Asus ExpertBook B1 series which includes 14-inch (B1402) and 15.6-inch (B1502) models. Both notebooks are powered by 12th Gen Intel processors. They have the latest military-grade standard construction. Commercial laptops are slim, light, and highly versatile.
Asus ExpertBook B1 series specifications
ExpertBook B1 series’s B1402 features a 14.0-inch, HD LED display. The Anti-glare display comes with 220 units of brightness, NTSC: 45%, Screen-to-body ratio of 81 %. On the other hand, the B1502 includes a 5.6-inch, FHD TN, Anti-glare display. The screen offers 220 nits of brightness and a Screen-to-body ratio of 83 %. The display is also certified up to TÜV Rheinland standards for low blue-light emissions. The laptops are powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1255U CPUs with Intel Iris Xe graphics. They come with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Asus ExpertBook B1402 and B1502 include dual-vented exhaust cooling solutions to keep the thermals in check. The laptop features the Asus Expert Widget that is said to increase users’ productivity by allowing the users to customise their own hotkeys to launch apps/browsers instantly with the combination of Fn Key + Number Key 1-4 and F10 / F12 keys. In terms of connectivity, it includes dual USB-C ports, with USB 3.2 Gen 2 offering Power Delivery, Data transfer and DisplayPort. It also has both USB 3.2 Gen 2 and USB 2.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI 1.4, a rigid full-size RJ-45 Ethernet port with connection status LEDs, and a combo audio jack. There are two external-video outputs — DisplayPort over USB-C and HDMI, supporting connections of up to two external 4K UHD displays. In addition to this, the device features Wi-Fi 6E coupled with ASUS Wi-Fi Master Technology and Bluetooth 5.1.
Asus ExpertBook B1 series includes a Kensington Lock slot allowing for the quick, easy, and physical security of the device.
Asus ExpertBook B1 series price in India
The price of the Asus ExpertBook B1 series remains under wraps. However, both B1402 and B1502 will be available at leading Commercial PC channel partners.
