Atmanirbhar app by Mitron- A dedicated platform to discover Made in India applications launched in India

In a bid to make made in India apps more discoverable Mitron has now introduced Atmanirbhar Apps on Google Play. Mitron is a short-form video-sharing app that was launched to take on Tik Tok. The new app will be promoting homegrown apps that will be serving in various categories such as e-learning, news, health, shopping, games, utility, entertainment, social networking and more. This app will help the users to search info related to made in India apps available on Google Play with their download links. The Atmanirbhar app is now available for download on Android devices on Play Store.

Atmanirbhar App is a platform to explore Indian apps while also supporting PM Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat mission that is meant to support a self-reliant economy in which local consumers support local brands and be Vocal for Local. Atmanirbhar Apps by Mitron is free to download applications on the Google Play Store which intend to promote Indian apps that help Indian customers know about Indian products and services and choose them based on their selection.

One can straightaway access the app by just downloading and you do not need to register yourself. The app recommends made in India apps such as Aarogya Setu, BHIM UPI, My Gov, PMO India, mPassport Seva, UMANG, Online RTI, Narendra Modi app, JioTV, DigiLocker, Kaagaz Scanner, as well as IRCTC Rail Connect. Apart from recommending the India apps the list also shows the size of the app with the number of downloads as well as the apps’s description. Click on the Get App button and the platform will redirect you to the Google Play listing of that particular app.

The Atmanirbhar App throws recommendations from across the various categories such as e-governance, utility, agriculture, gaming, entertainment, lifestyle, e-learning, and more. As of now, this app is limited to Android devices and the company plans to bring it to iOS users as well.
