This year we have seen a spell of smart TVs launching in the country. Even makers like Samsung have dropped the price of its 4K televisions making them very affordable. Blaupunkt has already brought 3-4 of its television series in India and now they have brought yet another 4K TV to India. This is from the QLED smart TV lineup from the company and features a smart air mouse remote as well.
The smart air mouse remote manages the icons and cards on the Blaupunkt QLED TV, which the users can click and access. The remote also comes with voice functionalities as well. This means you can speak to the remote to open apps or search the web. Talking more about the TV screen. The resolution supported on this thin tube is 3,480×2,160 pixels. The TV is almost bezel-less and comes in an ultra-thin metal frame. To be exact the TV is 7.9mm thin at the top part of the screen.
With over a billion shades supported on this TV and Blaupunkt’s Quantum Dot Technology thru 100% colour volume, the company claims to offer a wide palette of hues. The German manufacturer also says that users get up to 178 degrees of viewing angles and the TV offers blur-free smooth vision, even in fast action scenes. The TV is built on Android 7.0 Nougat OS for TVs.
Under the hood, the Blaupunkt QLED TV has a Dual-Core Cortex A73 chipset with a Mali 450 graphics unit. Thanks to which HDR X also runs on the television. This smart TV comes with Dolby Digital and DTS sound solution for surround sound. The price of the TV has been kept at Rs 64,999 as a promotional price during Amazon Prime days starting 15th July 2019. The smart TV comes with onboard WiFi and the refresh rate of the 4K TV is 60Hz.
The screen contrast ratio is 6,500:1. The price of the TV will be revised to Rs 69,999 after the Amazon Prime days sale ends. Connectivity options such as USB, HDMI and composite ports can also be found within the smart TV.
