State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a new Rs 151 plan for its prepaid customers. The new prepaid plan is named as “Abhinandan-151” and it brings unlimited calls, 1GB daily data along with 100 SMS per day for a period of 24 days. The new plan is not just limited to one or two cities but, it is active and available across all BSNL circles with all the benefits we just mentioned. The new prepaid plan from BSNL comes days after it launched the BSNL My Offers service that was designed to suggest the best special tariff vouchers for its subscribers. The My Offers Service could be accessed by dialling *121#.
It should be noted that with the recharge of the new Rs 151 Abhindan-151 plan, the users would get a validity of 180 days. However, the benefits that it comes bundled with will only be available for 24 days. Talking about the benefits, with the recharge of Rs 151 prepaid plan, the users will get unlimited local, STD as well as roaming calls to any network. It even includes the Delhi and Mumbai circles. Other than unlimited voice calling, the plan also offers 1GB of data every day which means it provides a total of 24GB of data in total. Lastly, users will also be getting 100 SMS messages every day.
The plan is currently live and listed on the official BSNL website as the Abhindan-151 plan. It also comes as a promotional offer which is available for 90 days starting from Thursday, June 13. Other than that, it is also applicable for the new migrated and the existing BSNL connections. This means that the new, as well as the old BSNL customers, can recharge and avail to the benefits of this plan. The new Rs 151 prepaid plan from BSNL was first spotted by Telecom Talk.
Furthermore, in May 2019, the state-owned telecom operator BSNL launched a new *121# BSNL My Offers Service to all its customers. Using this new service, the subscribers would could get suggestions on the best special tariff vouchers. To use it, the subscribers would have to dial *121# from their smartphone’s dialler and then click on Call. The service is designed to reply to the customers with all the available STV plans active in their own telecom circles. The users can then choose from the list of plans suggested to them.
