In order to blur the line between state-of-the-art home appliances and designer furnishings, LG Electronics’ Furniture Concept Appliances are making their anticipated global debut at CES 2021 with an interactive experience that enables attendees design a virtual living space with appliances that can be customized to their liking. This list of designer appliances comprises of InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerator, Fridge and Freezer pair, microwave, dishwasher, water purifier, WashTower and Styler.

With the ability to integrate effortlessly in any environment owing to the diversity of luxurious materials and modern colors that can be mixed and matched to order, the suite of LG’s Furniture Concept Appliances provides multiple combinations of materials and colors to choose from, enabling customers to customize each product to suit their personal tastes and the décor of any room in their home.
According to the LG, “The premium look of the Furniture Concept Appliances is further achieved through the use of various finishes including stainless steel, glass, metal, and FENIX, an innovative material with advanced coating technology designed by Arpa Industriale of Italy. Opaque, fingerprint-resistant and pleasing to the touch, FENIX offers excellent durability and has a timeless yet distinctly modern appearance.”
Moreover, LG is enabling visitors with an opportunity to experience the collection’s remarkable versatility online via the innovative experience provided by the virtual showroom at CES 202. Also, the visitors will be able to design their dream interior and fill it with LG Furniture Concept Appliances in the colors and finishes of their choice.
Meanwhile, LG has revealed that its InstaView Range can be controlled and monitored using the ThinQ app connected to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa smart speakers. And LG partners SideChef, Innit, Drop, and Tovala offer helpful culinary inspiration through the hundreds of easy-to-follow recipes on their apps.
Additionally, LG stated that once the user has selected a recipe, cooking instructions are sent to the oven which then sets the appropriate cooking mode and temperature. With Drop and a smart Thermomix, making pizza at home is a no-brainer with ThinQ controlling the mixer settings and LG InstaView Range preheating automatically so as soon as the dough is rolled and toppings topped, the oven is good to go. And heating frozen meals from brands such as Nestlé and Kraft Heinz is as simple as scanning a barcode with Scan to Cook.
