Dell has broadened its Essential Laptop range in India, introducing two new Pro variants. The Dell Pro 14 Essential and Dell Pro 15 Essential are low-cost PCs built for India’s growing small and medium business (SMB) sector. They provide simplified IT solutions, such as cloud-based fleet management and application publishing through the Dell Management Portal. Furthermore, military-grade testing improves dependability, allowing SMBs to focus on expansion and success.
The new Dell Pro 14 Essential and Pro 15 Essential laptops appeal to small and medium-sized businesses by offering integrated security, management, and dependable performance.
Dell’s Pro Essential range stresses sustainability and performance. The Pro 14 Essential is made of recyclable aluminium and steel, earning EPEAT Silver Climate+ and ENERGY STAR certifications. The Pro 15 Essential uses up to 30% post-recycled plastic in the palm rest and 50% in the bottom cover. Both variants are packed with 100% recyclable materials and fulfil MIL-STD 810H specifications for workplace durability.
The Dell Pro Essential laptops, available in 14-inch and 15-inch variants, are designed for professionals on the go by combining portability with the functionality of a full-size keyboard and numeric keypad. The laptops include screens with a resolution of up to 2.5K and a 16:10 aspect ratio, which provides enough vertical screen space for work programs and vivid images. The screens are optimised for clarity during presentations and video calls, making them ideal for small and medium-sized businesses that require remote collaboration. Users can choose between AMD and Intel CPU options, providing versatility in terms of performance and pricing.

Both laptops include Dell’s business management tools, such as TPM 2.0 encryption for data protection and additional security features like a privacy shutter and optional fingerprint reader. They feature Microsoft Autopilot for zero-touch deployment, which dramatically reduces IT setup time, and the Excalibur OS Recovery feature for speedy system recovery after failures.
